Rainy again...

It was pouring here in NJ this morning, it seem sot have stopped though.
I am planning to use my new sewing machine today. My fabulous mother got me one for my birthday. She said my old one sounded like a tornado. I guess since it was my first I just though they all made lots of noise :) I have pj's to cute out for Sean and sleeves to sew onto Catherine's nightgown. I may also finish a pair of pj pants Kayla started over the summer that just never got done. how awesome would it be if I got it all done today........but probably not.
Tonight is church and I have some sheets to print out for my class to cut and paste, with glue sticks of course. PRAISE God for glue sticks. And glue dots too, but they don't work so well when 4-7 year olds are trying to use them.
I need to plan dinner too, need to check the freezer.

Will I ever be a regular blogger?

That is my question of the day. And will anyone read if I do post regularly??
Hmmm, things to ponder.
It is a rainy day her in NJ. Meg is home from school not feeling well.I need to pick Catherine up from pre-school soon. My house is not as neat and tidy as I would like but I'm a bit under the weather too.
It took me longer than I car to admit, to figure out my new background and I still can't get the tool icons to go away.... Maybe later I will work on that.
My children are looking forward to trick or treating this weekend. Kayla is going as Pipi Longstocking, Meg isn't quite sure yet, Sean is reusing his pirate costume and Catherine will be Cinderella again. With a beautiful new costume bought on serious clearance at the Disney Store. We bought it thinking we would make it to Disney World this year, then reality set in. Goodness I hate it when that happens :) I can't wait for her to see it.
My husbands birthday is 11/10 and we are going to Boston for a few days. I am so excited just to get away!
I hope to make a dinner menu for the rest of the week and may just post it here. Even if no one else read it, it may just keep me accountable :)

Happy Birthday Catherine

It is so hard for me to believe my little one is 3 already. She woke this morning excited ofr presents and most of all the mail. My mom and mil send cards for every holiday imaginable and my children love to receive them. I stepped inside with the mail and Catherine ripped the beautiful purple one out of my hands and yelled "Is that my birfday cawd??". Why yes sweetie it is :) My sister came over and we, me her big brother and of course the birthday girl, went to her favorite deli for lunch.
When the UPS man rang my bell this morning I almost kissed him. My husband used to work for UPS and I'm wondering how many other moms, who put off ordering gifts until it's almost to late and you have to consider paying the CRAZY 2 day shipping charge, wanted to kiss him when their American Girl order arrived in the nick of time. Tonight after dinner, we will have cupcakes with her siblings and she will open her Bitty Baby Twins. Her big party will be this weekend. Her daddy is in California and Nana is in Puerto Rico, so the big festivities are put on hold.
I hope to share pictures later. And that they are in the right spot. I'm still figuring out this Blogger system and not doing so well.

Around the house...some straightening to do before settling in

One of my favorite things...soothing candles lit around hte house

A few plans for the rest of the week: church, lesson plans to finish for Wednesday night and bible study for Thursday morning

Here is picture thought I am sharing...me and my birthday girl... HHHMMM...... why did my pictures show up at the top? I can't figure out how to move them. Can anyone help?
